Question 1

How do I create an account on Bishop?

Accepted Answer

Creating an account on Bishop is simple and requires no documentation. Click "Register" on the homepage, enter your email address and create a secure password — or sign in instantly with your Google account. No government ID, passport, or personal documents are ever required. The entire process takes under a minute.

Question 2

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

Bishop is a decentralised prediction market that accepts USDC and Bishop Coin (BSHP) as the primary payment methods. USDC provides stable value for everyday trading, while Bishop Coin unlocks enhanced trading incentives and higher reward multipliers. Deposits and withdrawals are processed on-chain to your connected wallet.

Question 3

How do prediction market odds work?

Accepted Answer

Prediction market odds represent the probability of an outcome occurring. For example, if a market shows 65% for "Yes" and 35% for "No", the market believes there is a 65% chance of the event happening. Your potential payout is calculated based on these odds and your stake amount. Odds update in real-time based on market activity.

Question 4

What is the minimum deposit amount?

Accepted Answer

The minimum deposit on Bishop is $5 USDC or equivalent in Bishop Coin. This allows new users to start with small amounts and explore the platform. There is no maximum deposit limit. Daily deposit limits can be configured through your account settings for responsible trading.

Question 5

How long does it take to withdraw my winnings?

Accepted Answer

Withdrawals on Bishop are processed on-chain and typically confirm within minutes depending on network conditions. Funds are sent directly to your connected wallet address. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10 USDC. Bishop Coin withdrawals follow the same process. No identity verification is required to withdraw.

Question 6

Can I set trading limits on my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Bishop provides comprehensive responsible trading tools. You can set daily deposit limits, weekly trading limits, and session time limits through your account settings. You can also take a break from trading (24 hours to 30 days) or request self-exclusion (6 months to permanent). These tools help you maintain control over your trading activity.

Question 7

What happens if a market is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

If a market is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as an event being postponed or cancelled), all positions are voided and stakes are returned to your wallet within 24 hours. You will receive a notification explaining the reason for the cancellation.

Question 8

What are Bishop Coin trading incentives?

Accepted Answer

Users who trade using Bishop Coin (BSHP) receive enhanced rewards compared to USDC traders. Bishop Coin traders earn a 1.5x reward multiplier on all winnings, priority access to new markets, reduced platform fees, and exclusive leaderboard bonuses. The more you trade with Bishop Coin, the higher your incentive tier and the greater your rewards.

Question 9

What is Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

Bishopay is Bishop's built-in fiat on-ramp that lets you deposit real-world money using your Visa or Mastercard debit/credit card. Once your deposit is received, Bishopay automatically converts it into USDC or Bishop Coin (BSHP) — whichever you choose — so you can start trading immediately without needing a crypto wallet or prior crypto experience.

Question 10

How do I deposit fiat using Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

To deposit fiat via Bishopay: (1) Go to your Wallet Centre and select "Deposit". (2) Choose "Bishopay — Fiat Deposit" as your deposit method. (3) Enter the amount you wish to deposit in USD, EUR, GBP, or your local currency. (4) Pay securely using your Visa or Mastercard. (5) Select whether you want your funds converted to USDC or Bishop Coin. Your converted balance will appear in your wallet within seconds.

Question 11

What currencies does Bishopay support?

Accepted Answer

Bishopay accepts deposits in major global currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and many more. Your fiat deposit is automatically converted to USDC (pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar) or Bishop Coin at the live market rate at the time of conversion. The exact rate and converted amount are shown to you before you confirm the transaction.

Question 12

Is there a minimum or maximum fiat deposit via Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

The minimum fiat deposit via Bishopay is $5 USD (or equivalent in your local currency). There is no set maximum, though your card provider may apply its own limits. All deposits are processed securely and your converted USDC or Bishop Coin balance is available for trading immediately after confirmation.

Question 13

Are there any fees for using Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

Bishopay charges a small conversion fee to cover payment processing and on-chain settlement costs. The fee is displayed transparently before you confirm your deposit — there are no hidden charges. Depositing fiat and converting to Bishop Coin may attract a lower fee than converting to USDC as an incentive for Bishop Coin adoption.

Question 14

Is my fiat payment secure with Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All fiat payments through Bishopay are processed via Stripe, a globally trusted payment infrastructure used by millions of businesses. Your card details are never stored on Bishop's servers. Payments are encrypted end-to-end and comply with PCI-DSS standards. Once your payment is confirmed, funds are converted and credited to your Bishop wallet automatically.

Question 15

Do I need to complete identity verification (KYC/AML) to use Bishopay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All users who wish to use Bishopay are required to complete identity verification (Know Your Customer / Anti-Money Laundering) checks before making fiat deposits or withdrawals. This is a regulatory requirement for fiat payment processing and helps protect the platform and its users from fraud and financial crime. KYC verification is a one-time process and is completed securely within the platform. Once verified, you can use Bishopay without any further identity checks.
